Haven't sewn since high school? Just bought a machine but you\'re afraid to take it out of the box? Never fear, we\'ll get you on your way to stitching in style. You'll learn all the ins and outs of the sewing machine, how to do straight and zigzag stitching, threading the machine, winding a bobbin and more. While you learn, you\'ll make an attractive and useful reusable grocery tote. We even provide the sewing machines! Please bring 1 yard of fabric and a spool of thread, plus a paper and pen for notes. Purchase fabric and thread from Home Ec. and you get a 15% student discount! Your instructor is Jenny Ryan, owner of Home Ec. and author of SewDarnCute. This is a two-night class happening on Wednesday or Thursday nights from 7-9pm.
