Hand-Carved Stamps with Elinor NissleyLocal artist Elinor Nissley of Krank Press will teach students to carve their own custom designed rubber stamps, which we will then use to stamp fabric, paper, and gift tags. We will also learn to create Japanese-inspired tenugui, an all-cotton cloth that can be used in your household or stitched into a cute and simple bag and used as eco-friendly gift wrap. Class price includes a carving block large enough to create 3-4 stamps, two carving tools, unbleached muslin, kraft wrapping paper and 10 gift tags. Elinor will also provide a selection of her own hand-carved stamps for students to use in class if they'd like. Class happens Thursday, July 15 from 7-10pm.
