earn to make traditional Japanese stab bound books with local artist Richenda Brim of Clementine Press.This class is perfect for beginners, or those who have taken one of Richenda's other classes. Japanese stab binding is a style that is perfect for photo albums, scrapbooks, and journals. Students will learn three different sewing styles and two different cover styles. The class will cover design possibilities and modifications for stab bindings. Students will go home with three books, notes, and tools to continue bookbinding at home. All papers/bookmaking materials and a cheat sheet are included. If you took Bookbinding 101 please bring your bone folder and paper awl. (If you need to purchase these tools, please bring an extra $5 to class.) One-time class happens Sunday, June 13 from 3-6pm.
